What is Dravet Syndrome
Dravet Syndrome is a catastrophic rare form of epilepsy that affects children starting in the first year of life. Seizures increase in intensity during ages two to four. They develop numerous types of seizures, usually different than the previous and can be life threatening. The risk of seizure is constant in their daily life: over stimulation, sleep deprivation, slight temperature increase or decrease, weather, food triggers, chemical triggers, pattern sensitivity, medication changes, and any change of routine
